Samsung TV panel 3D Active Glasses Technology

Samsung started producing LED and LCD panels compatible for 40-inch, 46 inch and 55 inch full HD 3D display using the '3 D Active Glasses', Using Samsung's 240Hz technology. Samsung's 240Hz technology provides full-HD display in 2D, and also display a smooth, natural, full-HD with 3D images that can capture fast motion clearly.
By combining the 240Hz technology, which operates at 240 frames per second, Samsung panels give you a more vivid with images that are synchronized with the movement of right and left eyes using '3 D Active Glasses technology '.

Samsung has reduced the response time of the LCD, and LED panels by 20 percent to less than four milliseconds, eliminating the interference between the images left eye and right eye. With the increase in response time, Samsung is able to achieve a natural 3D images and can also send a 2D image that can capture fast movements with remarkable clarity.


Samsung 3D Active Glasses technology with the newest of the first block and then right-left lens that causes a pause when the image displayed on each eye in order to achieve more vivid 3D images. The term, '3 D Active Glasses' was selected as an official term by Glasses Standardization Working Group from the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) earlier this year.

Previously polarized glasses method on 3D glasses to produce separate images of the left eye and right eye, resulting in half the resolution of two-dimensional image in which only half of the screen that can be seen through their respective polarizing filter. Image sharpness is also decreased as a result of polarization filters.
